This is a practice post. I'm going to have a week of "Me time" next month and I have an obligation that requires I make posts while I'm gone.  I am, therefore, attempting to have this post post here at a set date and time. I may delete afterward, but than again, I may not.
This card was originally made for a swap that required using a Digi. I played around with this one and had fun doing it. Its not a great card but I found out one can print a digi stamp any size and pretty much do anything with it. I sized this digi to fill a regular size card, printed it out on parchment, colored the bunny and pop dotted the hearts on the swag. This digi stamp is from Stitchy Bear Stamps. I like the versatility of Digi stamps, but will continue to buy and use rubber and silicone stamps. I will also play with Digi stamps.

GAB Challenge #3

Use a Scallop anywhere on the page.

This was easy for me, I had just gotten my new scalloped nestabilities and of course, I had to use them. That adorable image is a digi from Stitchy Bear. I used a variety of mediums in my coloring, Copics, Zig, Twinkelette and Slick Writer. I stayed with the pinks from the first challenge.

I made this card for an SSSD swap, and no, I didn't put that sentiment in it. It would be nice tho. I used my Cricut for the heart and its in three layers. The background was made using Saran Wrap and an ink pad.

I just love using digi stamps, they are so versatile. You can make them from itty bitty up to what ever your printer will print out. The size I used on my card is 2.79 x 2.65. I thought about going smaller, but I had to color it and my coloring little things leaves a bit to be desired.

GAB Challenge #1

Here is my card. I have four layers, the fourth being vellum on which I stamped the sentiment. The third layer is white CS stamped  with Pretty in Pink ink to make the background. The corners were punched using a Fiskars punch.

It has been a while since I posted. I have gotten lazy, January is  gone and I wasn't very productive only made about five or six cards and a set of 19 ATCs. I must do better on the cards this month.
Here is a card I made using Cricut cartridge Birthday Bash. I had to make a card designed around a coin. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to use a coin on a card. I looked through all of my cartridges and saw this kangaroo. She has a pocket. (Putting coin(s) in a pocket had been on my mind for several weeks.) Here was the pocket for my coin! As you can see, Mom kangaroo is not only  carrying the penny in her pocket but she also her baby .


This card has a "homemade" background. I was to use Saran Wrap to make the background and I had so much fun making it that I used it on several cards.  I really like the look that the wrap produces. The image, Bunny Love, is designed by Melissa Jenkins, and offered as a freebee at OWH!

Both cards were made for January swaps that I participated in.

I went over to the OWH Stars & Stamps site last night and saw this  Shippers Choice challenge.
The challenge is to make cards for our heroes to send home to their wives, husbands, kids, etc., which say “THINKING OF YOU” somewhere on the front. 
I couldn't decide which one I wanted to enter into the challenge or to post here, so here are two. As you can see, I'm color challenged, but hope that the cards will be liked for the thought behind them.
I inked the tag on the right using saran wrap and my ColorBox ink pad. The sentiment is a Hampton Art stamp. The butterfly stamp on the other card is from Hero Arts.
