Happy birthday to me

I had a birthday last month. Whoopee, I'm another year older.

I have decided to share the birthday cards I have received. This year is the last of 7 decades of my life. Now for the beautiful cards I received.
The above card is from Pat. She is a really great card sender, She sends all all of her Birthday Club cards so that everyone arrives before the birthday. Thank you for a beautiful card Pat.

This card is from Cindi. Its pretty here but even more so in person. Cindi moved to the other side of the state a few years back so I don't get to see her very often. Thank you Cindi for a beautiful bright card.

Thank you Jeanette. I love this card. Jeanette lives a bridge toll away. I see her about 4 times a year. at Stamp Camps.

Hi Marilyn. I received your wonderful card a couple of weeks ago. Marilyn makes such beautiful cards.  And she has a grandson 14 months and another grandson on the way. Thank you Marilyn

Beautiful card Kathy, Thank you. I met Kathy at a Stamp Camp a few years back. I don't think I have ever gotten her birthday card to her before her birthday.

Last card. This card is from Carrie. She is our SU fearless leader. What else can I say?  oh, she loves flamingos. About a month before her birthday, Carries mentions it every time she sees us ๐Ÿ˜ธ

THANK YOU ladies for such beautiful cards. I love them all. Can hardly wait until next year when I will get some more๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Thank you for stopping by, please leave a comment so I know you were here.

Wonderful Ladies

I belong to a SU group of 7 ladies. We have Club once a month. This COVID-19 is sure messing with that, but we have found a way to continue our get togethers. BUT,...that's not what this post is about, its about the ladies. As I said, there are 7 of us. I am the oldest and Saturday is my birthday. We did a trial get together this evening and this is why they are such a wonderful group; They sang๐ŸŽœ Happy Birthday ๐ŸŽto me and each was holding a lit candle. And...I got to blow out the candles๐Ÿ•ฏ๐Ÿ•ฏ๐Ÿ•ฏ๐Ÿ•ฏ๐Ÿ•ฏ๐Ÿ•ฏ, with a little help from them.
Let me tell you about these ladies. As I said, I'm the oldest and old enough to be the mother of all of any one of them.

There is our fearless leader, Carrie. I don't know how long she has been a SU demonstrator. but she has been mine for 8 years, I think it is. The group has been together that long and some of them even longer. She used to live within walking distance from me, now that in itself is a danger. Most of you would know why that is. Anyway, she has recently moved 400 miles ๐Ÿ™from here.

Another one of the ladies is Cynthia, "motor mouth" for short. She keeps us laughing. A few years ago she moved about 700 hundred miles away and we still kept the group together. Shes back now. Oh, by the way Cynthia is the youngest of the group.

Then there's Cindi. She too moved about 500 miles away ๐Ÿ™. It was sad seeing her go, but she is still part of the group. We see her less often than we did Cynthia when she was away but we all have phones.☎ ☎

Oh, you would love Marilyn. She is a beautiful woman and I love her hair. She has a daughter that gave her a grandson ๐Ÿ‘ผand there is another on the way. ๐Ÿ‘ถ

Our organizer, and boy can Kendall organize things. She puts our retreats together and does such a wonderful job. She also help us with phone ๐Ÿ“ฑ technology if we need it. She has helped me more than once.

Of course I can't forget Connie. What can I say about Connie. I didn't care her when I first joined the group. She was always talking, but not to anyone specifically. I used to think I had to listen and talk when required and it was just too much as I'm not much of a talker ( I do have my moments). Well, Connie is a wonderful, giving woman. She and I shared a room on the last two retreats and she drove us both. We are friends, and I love her as I love all these wonderful ladies. My SU sisters.

This is us, the Sassy Stampers.

We are a group of women who get together monthly for club, quarterly for stamp camp, randomly for C4T and retreats 2x a year.

Since this virus has come along, we can't get together very often. So What do we do in our spare time?
 ROCK YOUR SOCKS
 Here we go

Oh oh, someone didn't believe in socks. We have one who didn't show her socks because they are all packed away because of a recent move.

We also had a second CHALLENGE  Make a card. I think we did better on the sock thingy.

There you have it. We had two fun challenges. We will have another post with some more cards.
