Many of you know that I like a challenge and often use cards that I'm swaping for the Free digi of the month Challenge.
Pearls are the mystery item for the Mystery card swap in January. Perfect! I'm only in two card swaps this month and the Color of the Month colors; Black, White and Silver, didn't lend themselves to Valentines. But Kittens, Hearts and Pearls do.
That's my Valentine. I'm not really happy with it and it does look better in person, but that's what I came away with. I have now used some of my stash of pink papers, my Sizzix heart embossing folder and the pearls. Yaaaa!
My other swap, COTM, well, I made several before I decided on this one. When I check on who my partner was, the cards I had made just didn't seem right. I had just ordered the SU People like you stamp and it was down at my SU Enabler's house. Knowing my swap partner liked this stamp, I picked it up and made this card... hope she likes it.
Thanks for stopping by. Take Care
PS: I replaced the missing pearl on the Valentine card.

Great cards Joyce...my fave is the first one! That's an awesome technique that I haven't tried yet but I want to! Both of your cards turned out wonderful...TFS!!!
Joyce I love your cards... the Valentine one reminds me of my daughters cat and love the tone on tone of the other! Thanks for sharing :) Kathi
I think the first card is really cute :-) I like the pearl border.
The second card is so pretty. It really is a lovely flower.
