OWH Sketch #64

I am so proud that I have the opportunity to show a sample of an OWH sketch.

I studied the sketch trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it. I love butterflies, so wanted to put one on the card. I also used my favorite stamp which is from Hero Arts.  I have used this stamp on so many of my cards. The butterfly is a Spellbinder's die. I can't find the boarder punch I used, but it is probably a Fiskars.

I used chalks to color the background and the butterfly. I stamped the sentiment in green ink then used Twinklett pens to add color with an iridescence look.   The gems are from Want2Scrap.

The butterfly is two pieces and I used a small popdot to place it.

Joyce, I think my favorite thing is the chalked background. It's been so long since I've seen anyone use chalks, including myself, I forgot how pretty they could be.

Wonderful card for this week's OWH sketch. The detail in the border is really beautiful.
