 Technique: Rock n' Roll
Did you know there is actually a  rock n' roll stamping technique? I found out about it four hours before I was to have this posted.
Supplies: 2 stamp pads; complimentary or contrasting colors
1 stamp
card stock
Technique: rock the stamp on the lighter of the two colors, then roll the edges of the stamp on the darker or contrasting color. Now stamp on the card stock. Easy.
Now, my lesson learned: Think outside the box.
I didn't have enough info when I made my original contribution, but decided to post the card anyway.
I had no idea that there was actually a Rock n' Roll stamping technique. Boy did I get this one wrong! My little guy fits the R & R part, just not the technique part. The only ink I used was a sponge to ink the edge of the blue label, I embossed the blue and the background using the Nestability label Four from Sizzix and the boy is cut using the Cricut Every Day Paper Doll cartridge. I like my very CAS card and rather than just toss it decided to go head and post it here.

The Rock n Roll technique is a good one but I don't use it nearly enough! Your cards came out pretty cute though & I like the colors you used are great together...TFS!!!!

I like both versions of Rock n Roll! The last one is definitely more fun than the first. I knew about the technique but have never tried it before.

I love both your cards, Joyce! The first one is so very elegant. I love purple, it's so regal. I'm so glad you posted your second one, too. He's just adorable, and I love all the texture from the embossing.
