Original sketch

The sketch on the left is what I tried to match. First, I tried to make it a card, but it didn't work for me. I decided I would make a scrapbook page.

I have the picture of my grandma sitting above my computer. It is the last portrait of her and when I saw this sketch as a scrapbook page, I knew it was for her.  I hope she likes the page I made.

The base paper is by Bazzill as is the yellow. The print is by Melissa Frances. I made the flowers from a heavy lace, placed an artificial daisy in each. I used my Cricut to cut the letters and numbers.

In my journaling, I mention a couple of houses and I think the companion page will be pictures of the houses. However, the pictures I have were all taken about ten years ago and someone had painted one of them purple and green! Wonder if I can change it back to white using Printshop?

Thank you for stopping by. Take care

As for turning the house white in PS, at least you can make the photo b&w if not! lol

One way to compensate for the purple on the house you mentioned, is use Printshop to make the picture black & white. Then you should be able to adjust the hue.

I know your grandmother would love the page that you made. It reminds me very much of my own grandmother. The DP you used is very reminiscent of her generation. You did a beautiful job!
