365 Cards Challenge Day 112  Paper Pieced

Two days in a row. Actually, I have posted both cards today, but started Sunday's challenge yesterday. And this is Monday's challenge being posted on Monday.
As I said in my previous post, I am using the same background on the birthday cards I'm making for July. Just the name is being changed to protect the innocent. Oh, that's another story.
I punched the owl using an SU punch. His spotted center was heat embossed, cut out and applied. I put wiggly eyes on him and used a yellow gel pen to color his nose. The scolloped circle is punched using  Paper Shapers. I have discovered that I have a Xyron glue runner that doesn't show behind vellum. I don't know where I got it or what to look for to replace it since I have had it for years. I don't care for the glue runner for vellum I currently use, so hopefully I will be able to find the Xyron.
I will be sending this card off the end of the week, I hope she likes it.

Joyce, love all the technique you put into that little owl to make him just perfect. I have seen the xyron glue runners on the adhesive aisle at are local Michael's Arts & Crafts store if that helps you. I also have a vellum runner that I am not to fond of either.
